Quadrophenia Alley is an iconic destination in Brighton, celebrating Mod culture, style, music and the legacy of Quadrophenia. Our shop offers exclusive merchandise, clothing, accessories and gifts for fans and visitors from around the world.
We are looking for a motivated Assistant Manager to join our small, friendly team and help us deliver an exceptional retail experience.
Role Overview
As our Assistant Manager, you’ll support the day-to-day running of the shop, ensuring customers receive a warm welcome and an authentic Quadrophenia Alley experience. You’ll play a key role in maintaining store standards, supporting staff, and contributing to the continued growth of the brand.
What We’re Looking For
- Retail experience preferred – ideally in fashion, lifestyle or independent retail.
- Interest in Mod culture, fashion, or the Quadrophenia scene – passion for the brand is a huge plus.
- Local to Brighton – or able to travel reliably to the store.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, organised and enthusiastic with a hands-on attitude.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting in the daily management of the shop.
- Delivering excellent customer service and product knowledge.
- Supporting staff and maintaining high shop-floor standards.
- Overseeing stock presentation and assisting with merchandising.
- Handling customer enquiries and resolving issues professionally.
- Supporting with opening/closing procedures and general store operations.
