Here we go again.

That strange bit of the British year when you leave the house in sunshine, get caught in a downpour before lunch and somehow end up carrying your jacket around by four o’clock.

Early autumn has arrived — or at least it’s thinking about it.

Fortunately, it’s also one of the best times of year to get dressed. Track tops are back in regular rotation, knitwear starts earning its keep and you can finally add a decent jacket without looking like you’ve completely misread the forecast.
